The laboratory no longer accepts phone requests to add blood tests to recent samples.

📧 Request Process

✉️ Email Requirement

All requests to add bloods to recent tests must be sent via email to biochem2@nca.nhs.uk.

Sending the Request

• Compose a new email to biochem2@nca.nhs.uk
• Include patient identification (Name, DOB, Hospital Number)
• Provide the Sample URN (number on the bottle)
• Specify the time the sample was taken
• List the specific “add on” tests required
