🏥 Overview
GAU is the Gynaecology Assessment Unit at the RAEI. They assess and treat patients with suspected gynaecological or early pregnancy issues.
📋 Referral Process
Telephone Triage Required
Referrals are accepted/rejected after the patient is triaged over the phone.
Steps
- Call GAU directly to discuss the patient
- Provide clinical details for triage
- Await acceptance before sending patient
